We had an amazing day on Friday 14 August when we transformed Hengist Field Care Home into a tropical paradise, as the weather had been so hot!
Our residents, staff and managers all entered into the spirit of the day brilliantly, with lots of fancy dress fun. We had flower garlands, sparkling grass skirts, inflatable tropical props, masks, and even some bongo drums!
We had fun with our residents and visited bedrooms to spread some tropical fun around our Home. It was fantastic to see so many smiles as we posed for photos and played the drums!
Huge thanks too Jackie Dryden, Jacqui Finn, Debra Jeffcoat and Sue Randall from our Activities Team who worked really hard to make the day enjoyable for everybody.
