We enjoyed a lovely afternoon on Friday 20 January here at Hengist Field Care Home, with some gorgeous brightly coloured and scented flowers.
With a choice of roses, carnations, chrysanthemums, sunflowers and more, we made some beautiful arrangements.
To add to the flowers, we also used scented foliage from our own gardens, including flowering rosemary, fir tree branches and bamboo stems.
There was lots of chatter, conversation, reminiscence and laughter going on while we were all busy doing our arrangements.
Flowers always seem to brighten everyone’s day and our finished displays were placed around our Home for all to see and smell. Beautiful!
