On Sunday 22 January we celebrated Chinese New Year with our Hengist Field Care Home residents.
As requested by our lovely ladies and gents, we arranged a Chinese food tasting afternoon, where we served a delicious buffet of tempting treats, including:
- Sweet and sour chicken
- Tempura prawns with sweet chilli sauce
- Egg fried rice
- Noodles
- Chinese dumplings
- Spring and hoisin duck rolls
- Sesame prawn toast
- Chinese fortune cookies
Everyone was in great spirits, wearing their handmade Chinese hats and thoroughly enjoying sampling the amazing Chinese spread.
