On Thursday 19 January we were excited to make Chinese doughnuts during our Cookery Club, using our 3-in-1 treat maker, to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Our residents love making sweet treats with this special machine. We used a dough mixture which we shaped, all ready to be cooked.
We had puréed mangos and pineapples, sesame seeds, icing and sugar to dip, sprinkle, dunk and decorate our doughnuts.
Once baked, we all tucked in; inspired by Chinese desserts, they were truly delicious.
