We were delighted to welcome a gentleman called Terry Matson to Hengist Field Care Home on Monday 22 April, who is connected to our local Heritage Hub.
He came to present a fascinating historical talk on Dunkirk and World War I, with illustrative pictures on a projector. He also spoke of the local men from Sittingbourne and the surrounding areas who fought in the war.
Everyone said how interesting it was, and how well it was presented.
