Here at Hengist Field Care Home we organised an old fashioned sweet cart to celebrate World Chocolate Day on Thursday 7 July.
Our decorated cart was crammed full with a selection of sweets and chocolate treats for everyone to enjoy, including coconut ice, sherbet fountains, dolly mixtures, sugar mice, chocolate buttons, pontefract cakes, liquorice laces, bon-bons and parma violets to name a few!
To add to the fun our team dressed up in mop caps and frilly aprons, which our residents loved!
The sweet cart was a great success and sparked so many memories which our ladies and gents enjoyed sharing.
