On Saturday 22 July, as requested by our wonderful residents, we organised a tasting session to try out some individual desserts here at Hengist Field Care Home.
On our sweet treat trolley we had:
- Strawberry cheesecake
- Lemon cheesecake
- Salted caramel cheesecake
- Apple, raspberry and chocolate and hazelnut Muller Rice
- Yoghurts, including Turkish delight flavour
- Crème caramels
- Belgium chocolate and chocolate and mint mousses
- Flavoured custards and butterscotch Angel Delight
It was difficult to choose just which one to try first, with so many tempting textures and flavours – so many of our residents enjoyed two, three or four tastes! After all, you can never have too much pudding!
