Our Hengist Field Care Home residents have decided to start getting more involved with making their supper and recently chose to make their own sausage rolls.
With help from our Chef Jonny, our ladies and gents were given pastry, sausage meat, egg wash and flour and were able to design their own sausage roll creations!
Wendy decided to have a naked sausage roll, Reg wanted a spiral roll and Hildy showed off her baking skills with sausage rolls that could give Greggs a run for their money!!
David called his sausage roll ‘The Long Boat‘, whilst Peter and Mary decided to go for a party snack size.
Jonny kindly baked them for us all so they were ready for supper. Delicious!
