On Wednesday afternoon we had a visit from River’s Rodents and Reptiles at Hengist Field Care Home.
Although a few of our ladies and gentlemen were a little worried about getting the animals, it ended up being a brilliant, interesting afternoon.
River himself is such a nice person and he held our attention speaking about each of the rodents and reptiles, telling us facts, which everyone found fascinating.
The Recreation and Well-Being Team at Hengist Field said, “River was such a great host and full of knowledge about his animals, he ended up staying much longer than planned, but was more than happy to do so, answering questions and allowing everyone to touch, feel and hold the animals. A great time was had by all and some of us even conquered our fears!”
