On Thursday 17 August, we made some amazing summer wreaths here at Hengist Field Care Home, as requested by one of our residents.
We used card and wooden wreaths to start and decorated them using tissue paper, artificial ivy and a huge selection of brightly coloured artificial flowers, roses, daisies, sunflowers, pom-poms, tropical flowers and some beautiful coloured stick on and 3D butterflies.
There was lots of conversation and concentration, plenty of laughter and lots of fun making the wreaths and everyone enjoyed choosing colours and flowers.
Our gentlemen also carried on painting our decorations in preparation for our Beach BBQ.
Another fun-filled afternoon!
