On Monday this week, we started our preparations for Remembrance day at Hengist Field Care Home, by making some origami poppies.
We had old time music playing in the background, while there was lots of conversations and happy reminiscence between our residents and team members. Our lovely residents shared memories of their family members who were in involved in the war.
It was a great afternoon with a very purposeful cause.
