Hengist Field Care Home residents take a trip to the countryside

On Friday 28 April we took a group of our Hengist Field Care Home residents out into the countryside to see the local bluebells and spring lambs.

We spent such a lovely morning driving through the country lanes in the minibus, spotting spring lambs in the fields, beautiful bluebells, horses and apple blossom trees. We do have some amazing countryside, as Kent is known as The Garden of England.

We had music playing in the minibus and everyone enjoyed a little singalong as we drove, while snacks and refreshments were served on board.

Some of the views were simply stunning and all of our ladies said how much they enjoyed it and loved seeing not just the animals but the cherry blossom trees and bright yellow fields of rape seed. Everything is budding and coming to life.

A brilliant morning!
