It’s been fantastic to have relatives visiting once again here at Hengist Field Care Home.
Our resident Pat had a lovely visit from her daughter this week, which really made her day! David got to spend time with his wife too; there were lots of emotional tears to start with, but then lots of chatting away to catch up on family news.
Another of our gentlemen, Derek was delighted to have a visit from his wife Joan. It was her birthday, so we made it very special and she went away with flowers, cake, chocolate and birthday cards which she was thrilled with. We hope the visit made your day extra memorable Joan.
Although we still have restrictions in place, it’s been so wonderful to see loved ones reunited in person.
