We wished our Hildy a very happy 95th birthday on Thursday 10 August here at Hengist Field Care Home.
We sang ‘Happy birthday‘ to her, decorated her room with banners and presented her with lots of cards to celebrate her special day. We also presented here with a gorgeous strawberries and cream birthday cake, which she absolutely loved – she was full of mischief and picked a strawberry off the cake and popped it in her mouth and laughed!
Hildy received so many beautiful flowers for her birthday, her room was like a florist shop! As part of her day, she visited the hairdressing salon to have her hair done ready to be taken out to lunch with family. In Hildy’s words, “I feel very pampered today!”.
When she and her family came back after having lunch out, they enjoyed sitting together in our Courtyard Garden in the sunshine.
