Here at Hengist Field Care Home, on Friday 20 October we celebrated International Chefs Day to thank our Chefs and Kitchen Team for all their hard work and the beautiful food that they prepare.
We gathered all of our residents, as they wanted to join in and say a big thank you. Our Home Manager Neli made a lovely speech and presented our Head Chef Kay with a bottle of bubbly, a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates.
One of our lovely residents, Barbara, presented Kay with a picture canvas from the all of the residents. Sadly our other Chef Johnny, was unable to attend, but was presented with gifts and thanked for all his hard work upon his return to work.
Congratulations, well done and thank you very much from all at Hengist Field.
