Our lovely resident Peter celebrated his 80th birthday with us at Hengist Field Care Home on Tuesday 16 November.
Our Kitchen Team made him a tasty birthday cake which he was overjoyed to receive and pleased to share with his friends for afternoon tea.
We decorated Peter’s room with banners and our team serenaded him with a rendition of ‘Happy birthday‘, which he found amusing!
Peter enjoyed opening his cards and a gift of his favourite biscuits from his daughter (dark chocolate and ginger) which he informed us will not last very long once he starts nibbling!
