We’ve been in joyful spirits recently at Hengist Field Care Home as we’ve had three birthdays to celebrate.
Two of our lovely ladies and our Chef Johnny all had birthday celebrations. Our lovely Margaret enjoyed her 88th birthday on Saturday 9 December, whilst Wendy celebrated her 84th birthday on Tuesday 12 December. Last but not least our Chef Johnny celebrated turning 38 with us!
Margaret had her room decorated and everyone sang ‘Happy birthday‘ to her as she was presented with her delicious cake, which she loved.
Wendy celebrated her birthday on the day the children of Milstead and Frintsted Primary School visited us to sing carols, which included two of Wendy’s grandchildren so it was perfect, especially as they all got to sing ‘Happy birthday‘ to her!
Wendy also celebrated with a delicious evening meal in our specially decorated Orangery Lounge with her two daughters, which really made her day.
