On Saturday 18 October we held our weekly Book Club here at Hengist Field Care Home.
One of our lovely lady residents really enjoyed looking through a book entitled ‘The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady‘, which our Recreation and Well-Being coordinator had introduced to her.
The book had beautifully illustrated pictures of plants, with lovely handwritten style pages.
Our resident loved turning the pages herself and looking in depth at the pictures. It was wonderful to see her so captivated.
