St George’s Day
Our residents at Hengist Field Care Home enjoyed St George’s Day with the lovely singer Annie Riley, who came dressed as a stunning pearly queen!
Our ladies and gents sang along to all the classic songs she performed; ‘We’ll Meet Again‘, ‘Underneath The Arches‘ and some rock and roll favourites.
It was a wonderful afternoon and a super way to end the weekend.
Shooting for prizes
On Friday we had a new activity for our residents to try – ‘Shoot for Prizes!’
We put balloons up and wrote prizes on them and then our residents used Nerf Guns to take aim and fire to win the prizes that they wanted.
Everyone had so much fun (lots of concentrating faces!) and asked us to do it again soon. What a fun afternoon!
