Everyone at Hengist Field Care Home celebrated in style and had a spooktacular Halloween this year.
Our ladies and gents entered into the spirit (excuse the pun!) of the witching season. After a full week of making decorations, watching spooky movies, dressing up and much more, everything came together for The Hengist Halloween Party!
Staff had the opportunity to win prizes for the best fancy dress costume. Hazel, who is a much loved member of our Kitchen Team, won first prize. She made a wonderful effort dressing up as a witch – complete with black cat, broom and glowing pumpkin earrings. Well done Hazel – our ladies and gents always appreciate your efforts. One of our Receptionists also took part and won a prize of chocolates – well done Joanne!Â
The amazing Recreation and Well-Being team here at Hengist Field always do their best to keep both residents and staff happy, involved and entertained. They decorated all our Units, encouraged staff to take part, organised fun and games, crafts and costumes for residents to try on, and made posters to advertise the event. Thank you for all your constant dedication and hard work!
