We had a very happy Mother’s Day with all our wonderful Hengist Field Care Home mums and ladies on Sunday 10 March.
We gave fresh daffodils to all our lovely ladies to have in their rooms. We also held a flower arranging session in the morning, to make sure we had some bright, scented daffodil arrangements around our Home – a little dash of spring colour from outside brought inside.
During the afternoon we invited Peter Kneebone in to sing for our residents. As always, Peter looked very smart in his suit and performed a great selection of songs that everyone thoroughly enjoyed while they tucked into a delicious afternoon tea, with scones filled with jam and cream.
