It was a busy day here at Hengist Field Care Home on Wednesday 18 October as we celebrated World Menopause Day.
We hosted a relaxing pink spa/pampering morning, when our fabulous residents could enjoy a relaxing foot soak and massage, head massages and have their finger nails soaked and painted.
In the morning and afternoon we had group conversations about the menopause; what people understood about the menopause, how everyone coped going through the menopause and how the different stages affected everyone.
We then had a small religious service and Holy Communion for those who wished to attend with Chaplin Pat Tatchall.
What a packed day of activities for a great cause.
