Here at Hengist Field Care Home on Friday 5 December, we welcomed a new singer called Andy – and what an afternoon he gave us!
Andy sang a fantastic selection of songs from Elvis, Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Tony Christos and many more. He was great at interacting with our residents and families, doing song requests and joking with our residents.
Andy has worked in the theatre before and even sung in the West End; he’s worked with some famous people, including Sarah Lancashire. Andy has also featured in some soaps – Eastenders and Coronation Street to name a few.
We had a fantastic afternoon with Andy and he certainly got everyone going and joining in. We’ve already booked him to come in and see us again.
