Dementia Café trip
Our Hengist Field Care Home residents had another fabulous afternoon at the Oasis Academy this week, enjoying their Easter Dementia Café, which we were kindly invited to.
We listened to some primary school children singing and a band consisting of older children, plus some wonderful dancing and more beautiful singing from senior pupils.
We met the Mayor and Mayoress of Sheppey during our visit and were served delicious sandwiches and cakes.
The Academy also gave us slips of paper to fill in, if we wished to send well wishes to King Charles and Princess Kate, which we happily completed. The Academy were going to send them off to the royals which we thought was a very special gesture.
Thank you so much to the Oasis Academy and Paul Murray for having us.
Easter egg delivery
And another huge thank you to everyone at the Oasis Academy who have today delivered lots of fantastic Easter eggs for our residents – you are so thoughtful to think of our residents at this time of year.
Happy Easter everyone!
