Here at Hengist Field Care Home, we’ve been trying out some new activities with our residents this week.
Our latest new game, ‘Umbrella Fun’, involved hanging an umbrella upside down from the ceiling and everyone had to throw lightweight balls into it – a test of our aiming skills!
For each different colour ball there was a specific score;
Green = 2 points
Red = 4 points
Yellow = 6 points
Blue = 8 points……. with prizes for our winners!
What fantastic fun we had! So much laughter, competitiveness and exercise and our residents really loved it.
We’ll definitely be playing this one again!
