Our residents at Hengist Field Care Home thoroughly enjoyed our themed Italy Day last week, part of our Around the World with Nellsar Cruises armchair travel.
We decorated our Home with lots of bunting and flags and also hosted a quiz about Italy, whilst our ladies and gents enjoyed a glass of wine.
We all had fun having photos taken in our gondola overlooking the Tower of Pisa!
For lunch, our Cooks served a real Italian treat, with a delicious themed menu;
- Cotoletta (chicken in breadcrumbs)
- Sicilian Pasta Alla Norma (Aubergine pasta)
- Tiramisu
- Panna Cotta
Our Horsa residents have also been enjoying some gentle exercises with weights and relaxation with our wooden sensory pots.
