On Wednesday 19 May we took a group of our residents from Hengist Field Care Home to Barton’s Point on the Isle of Sheppey.
All our residents enjoyed breathing in the fresh sea air which blew away any cobwebs!
It felt so nice to have some kind of normality back to our lives and we even made friends with a swan while we were there!
Everyone had a lovely cuppa and cake, or a cheeky ice cream from the Boat House Cafe, whilst taking in the views.
We’re looking forward to many more trips to come!
