We enjoyed a lovely afternoon here at Hengist Field Care Home on Wednesday 14 September, with some flower therapy and flower arranging, with a fabulous selection of blooms.
The gorgeous colours and scents were very calming, soothing and great for topics of group conversation – including favourite flower and colour choices.
We kept our television on in the background, as everyone still wanted to keep up to date with news of the Queen.
There was plenty of group conversation and laughter going on around the table, but also some intense expressions of concentration whilst doing the arrangements – and wow, they all looked gorgeous when finished!
Some of our residents wanted their flowers in their rooms, whilst others were happy to have them displayed around our Home and also on our memorial corner for the Queen.
