On Wednesday 10 April we took a lovely trip out for lunch to The Sun at Bredgar with a group of our Hengist Field Care Home residents, as requested by them.
At the pub we all chose a drink, and then picked what we wished to eat from the varied menu. Around the table there was plenty of group conversation and laughter.
After our mains, most of us felt too full to have a dessert, but there were a couple who shared a delicious berry waffle with ice-cream and a Banoffee waffle with ice-cream – and why not!
We thoroughly enjoyed the trip out through the countryside. Everyone said they were full to the brim and had a great time together.
