What a lovely snuggly, cuddly day we all had on Thursday 11 April here at Hengist Field Care Home in honour of National Pet Day.
We had a visit from our handsome Hengist Field Pet Therapy dog Dexter, and Jo from our Recreation and Well-Being Team brought in her lovely dog Luna. Our residents absolutely loved having cuddles with both Dexter and Luna, especially when we did some room visits in the morning.
The weather was lovely, so we took some of our ladies and gents who wished to join us into the garden to throw balls for the dogs to run and fetch. As it was so nice, we handed around the ice-creams and ice lollies too.
What a super day!
