Here at Hengist Field Care Home we like to make all of our wonderful residents feel as much at home as possible and always encourage person-centred activities.
Our amazing resident Jackie has definitely hit the nail on the head, by being her own Interior Designer and making her bedroom look stunning.
Jackie has chosen everything herself, from the colour of the paints, furniture, curtains and pictures, right down to the cushions on her new chairs. Jackie loves animals, especially wild animals in Africa, as you can see from the pictures on her wall. She definitely has an eye for style and knows exactly what she wants; she’s very creative and is so happy with her finished room.
She’s had plenty of compliments on her taste and the design of her room too! We think Jackie will get asked for her help, hints, tips and ideas in the future – we know we will be asking her for advice when we’re next decorating!
