Music with Rob T
We enjoyed a fantastic fun-filled afternoon on Monday 18 December, when Rob T came in to sing for our residents at Hengist Field Care Home.
Rob sang a selection of classic hits and Christmas songs, encouraging our residents to clap, wave their arms, tap their feet and of course sing along.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves – thank you Rob for another brilliant afternoon!
Pet Therapy fun
On Tuesday, during our Coffee Morning, we had a very spritely furry visitor! His name was Miles, a wonderful Cocker Spaniel, who is being trained to become a Pet Therapy dog.
He belongs to our receptionist Julie’s daughter Vicky who brought him in to spend time with our residents. He was so well behaved, loved by everyone and brought so many smiles. What a lovely morning!
Scott Elvis
In the afternoon we had a terrific time when Scott Elvis came to perform for our ladies and gents.
Scott sang a variety of Elvis songs as well as Elvis Christmas songs of course. As always, he went down a storm, especially with our ladies! He always interacts well with our lovely residents, walking amongst them and singing to them, which they love.
