What a fantastic afternoon we had here on Saturday 29 July at Hengist Field Care Home, when our receptionist Jo brought in her two lovely children Elliot and Darcey to see our residents.
Wow there was so much fun and laughter! We set up games for everyone to play:
- Hit the balloon with a fly swat or a swimming noodle
- Throw the beanbag in to the hanging umbrella
- Throwing beanbags into hula hoops on the floor
Our residents thought it was absolutely wonderful having the children to visit. They loved watching them play and talking to them.
When it was time for them to leave, our residents clapped and said thank you for visiting; they said the pair were superstars and so well behaved.
