Our residents at Hengist Field Care Home enjoyed celebrating the anniversary of D-Day at the weekend.
Our dining room was laid out with D-Day flyers, Union Jack flags and table mats to set the scene, and after lunch we welcomed our wonderful singer Joy who sang a medley of songs from the war, as well as more current tunes.
Our residents loved it and were all singing away to the classics!
Our Recreation and Well-Being team dressed up in wartime clothes and had fun dancing with our residents.
A lovely day of music and celebrations.
