On Friday 12 January we had a fantastic visit from ZooLab at Hengist Field Care Home, who came with an interesting selection of animals for our residents to touch and feel, hold or stroke if they wished.
​Established in 1997, ZooLab is a family-run business, supported by a fantastic group of passionate field presenters and support staff who enthusiastically share their love of nature with audiences of all ages. Offering both face-to-face and online animal experiences.
The young man from ZooLab spoke about each animal in turn, telling us all the information about them, their habits, ways of life and plenty more.
We were introduced to a snake, a large cockroach, a giant snail, frog, scorpion and gerbil. The scorpion even shone bright blue under the fluorescent light!
