We’ve had two recent birthdays here at Hengist Field Care Home.
On Saturday 29 May we celebrated lovely Daphne’s 84th birthday and her day began being serenaded by our Recreation and Well-Being Team singing ‘Happy Birthday‘ and ‘Key to the Door‘ to her, which brought a smile to her face.
We decorated her room with birthday banners and she loved opening her presents and cards. She was all smiles when we presented her with her strawberries and cream birthday cake – yum!
On Monday 31 May our amazing resident Bill turned 90 and enjoyed his gifts, cards and birthday banners. He was delighted with his delicious birthday cake, which was decorated with gardening themed toppers. He was so happy and said he could not thank us enough!
