Jane is one of our amazing Unit Managers here at Hengist Field Care Home and she was shocked when we surprised her with a leaving celebration recently that she will never forget!
Kay our Head Chef and the kitchen team put on a wonderful spread, including a beautiful cake.
Jo from our Recreation and Well-Being Team made an amazing creation from watermelon, an orange, strawberries, blueberries and grapes – a baby sitting in a pram with a dummy in its mouth! It made a brilliant centrepiece.
Our staff had organised a collection and bought Jane plenty of gifts for both her and her baby.
Jane said that she was so shocked and couldn’t believe we would do this for her! She was very grateful and will miss everyone.
