On Saturday 27 November, Wendy, who lives locally in the village of Borden, came to visit her mum Peggy here at Hengist Field Care Home.
Whilst visiting, she popped in to see her friend Stephanie who is also a resident here. Stephanie loves cuddly teddies and Wendy presented her with three lovely teddies she made herself.
Wendy knits and makes cuddly toys by hand; she and her friends have created teddies to sell for breast care awareness and donated the money raised to Medway Hospital Breast Care Unit.
