We enjoyed some sensory fun on Thursday 16 November with our Horsa community residents here at Hengist Field Care Home.
We used different sized, textured and coloured stress balls, cuddly soft toy birds that sing, and a selection of colourful different shaped fidgets toys. Our residents loved the different shaped toys and fiddle muffs to hold and squeeze.
Our Dementia dolls were also popular and our residents enjoyed feeling, squeezing and cuddling them.
These different sensory gadgets and toys can be very comforting and offer some interesting distractions and fun! Â Â
