Here at Hengist Field Care Home we enjoyed a pets afternoon recently which our residents thoroughly enjoyed.
We welcomed in a lovely dog to spend some time with us. Our residents loved making a fuss of the pup and providing lots of strokes and cuddles!
We were excited too to have some chicks which hatched over the Easter period, with our residents watching over them – it was such a fun time with the chicks going around our Home visiting our ladies and gents in their rooms. What joyful little bundles of fluff!
One of our Carers took all the chicks Home so they are now running around in her garden. Happy days!
