Pantomime shenanigans
What a funny afternoon we had on Thursday 21 December at Hengist Field Care Home, when our residents absolutely loved our pantomime – our updated version of The Nativity.
The cast consisted of our Activities Team and our volunteer George, along with some our Management Team, Care Team Members, Nurses and Kitchen colleagues. Our lovely residents helped make all the props (Oh no they didn’t!).
We received so many brilliant compliments and we were told that it was one of the funniest shows they had seen. So well done everyone for coming together and making such a fantastic team!
Candy’s Karaoke and our Christmas Party
We had another absolutely brilliant afternoon on Friday 22 December where team members, residents and families all joined in the fun together – choosing a song and singing it on Candy’s Karaoke.
Everyone tucked into a gorgeous, tasty buffet and chose from a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It was a great Christmassy party atmosphere.
Towards the end of the afternoon we drew our Christmas Raffle where we had had some fantastic prizes which were donated by our team members and our residents’ families.
