Every two weeks at Hengist Field Care Home, the lovely Janet from Music for Health visits our Horsa community.
She came to see us on Friday 14 July and played a music quiz and engaging music for our lovely residents to join in with, with different instruments including tambourines, maracas and glittery pom-poms!
Janet also used drumsticks to orchestrate to some classical music and encouraged our residents to join in; not only is it great fun, it’s also good exercise! She also encouraged a singalong to the songs. Our Horsa residents got really involved and enjoyed playing the different instruments Janet brought along with her.
As you can see from the photos, there’s lots of concentration in keeping in time with the beat of the music!
