Today we celebrated Hildegard’s (Hildy’s) 92nd birthday at Hengist Field Care Home.
She was full of smiles when Jackie and Jacqui from our Activities Team went into her room this morning singing ‘Happy Birthday’ and gave her all her cards and post that had been delivered for her.
They decorated her room with banners and Hildy found it very funny and joked that she was ’21 again!’.
Hildy’s daughter came to see her through her window to wish her many happy returns and our Chef helped her cut her birthday cake and we all sung to her again.
