The great release on Thursday 11 May
Everyone at Hengist Field Care Home has enjoyed watching the fascinating transformation of the tadpoles in our pond into fully grown frogs – which most of them have now!
The frogspawn came from the large pond at the front of Hengist Field. The frogs are so cute and tiny – smaller than a five-pence-piece – but they have started to climb.
So today we released them all back into the pond where they came from. Heather, one of our lovely ladies, came to watch and thought it was wonderful. Good luck little frogs!
