As it was World Frog Day on Wednesday 20 March, we thought we’d celebrate these creatures with our own frog feature here at Hengist Field Care Home.
Last year we gathered some of the frog spawn from the pond here at Hengist Field. As this was so popular with our residents, we have decided to do it again this year.
We’ve created a display tank for them so everyone can watch the tadpoles slowly transform into frogs. Once they are tiny little frogs, we will return them to the pond to live their happy little froggy lives.
