On Monday 15 January we kicked off our week with a lively performance from singer Annie Riley here at Hengist Field Care Home.
As always, Annie gave us an afternoon to remember, with a fantastic selection of music – from good old pub songs to some rock ‘n roll. Annie certainly got everyone going; clapping, waving their arms, tapping their feet and singing along to the songs.
Annie showed our residents a picture she had of the Queen and Prince Phillip doing the Jive when they were young, which was lovely. She also told us that she helps arrange entertainment for Princess Ann which everyone found interesting amongst the wonderful stories she told us.
