We had a fabulous afternoon on Friday 13 May here at Hengist Field Care Home, with our mocktails and cocktails trolley, to celebrate World Cocktail Day.
We had great fun creating our very own mixes, which included:
- The ‘Hengist Field Hummer‘ – this consisted of apple juice, lime cordial, lemonade and a touch of green mocktail colouring and was inspired by the rolling Kentish countryside around our Home and the apple trees, not forgetting of course that Kent is known as the ‘Garden of England’.
- Our ‘Ruby Red Slammer‘ which was a mix of Aperol, cranberry juice and lemonade.
- Our ‘Blue Bombshell‘ consisting of Prosecco, soda water and a little colouring.
- …and of course Pimms and lemonade, which is always a firm favourite here at Hengist Field!
We had music playing in the background as the drinks were flowing and there was plenty of chat and laughter to be heard as everyone enjoyed a fun-filled Friday.
