Our Hengist Field Care Home residents had a fantastic afternoon on Thursday 1 December when we visited our beautiful local church in the quaint village of Tunstall to see their Christmas tree festival.
It was such a beautiful sight; trees were decked with handmade decorations, which had been created by different charities and groups from the local area. There were some absolutely brilliant ideas and they looked stunning.
We all had a wonderful time admiring the trees and chatting about them, enjoying a hot drink and mince pie, before returning to Hengist Field.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
