For Armed Forces Day here at Hengist Field Care Home we invited the lovely singer Annie Riley to come and entertain us for the afternoon.
Annie certainly did a grand job! Our residents thoroughly enjoyed it and there was plenty of singing and clapping along. She sang songs by Vera Lynn and other great war time artists. A lot of our residents found it very moving, emotional with the reminiscence of it all.
