Our recent baking session here with our residents at Hengist Field Care Home produced some wonderful jam tarts (including a fabulous heart-shaped one!) created courtesy of a generous helping of filling, the heat of the oven and our class of master bakers of course!
Their tasty treats were enjoyed by those taking part and were also shared with fellow residents as one of the popular choices on the afternoon tea trolley.
Our Recreation and Well-Being Team thanked residents who had joined in, as well as the Chefs and Kitchen team for providing the ‘heavenly’ ingredients.
We think ‘The Great British Bake Off’ would be proud!
